Pierce College Independent Living Program

The Pierce College Independent Living Program (ILP) prepares foster youth, ages 16-21, to live independently once emancipated from the foster care system. Together, with the Community College Foundation and the Department of Children & Family Services, our goal is to educate and prepare foster youth by giving them a network of support, the keys to successful emancipation and the understanding that regardless of their past, it is always possible to look toward a brighter future.
