The $1 fee is optional, and you are not required to pay.
You may not register for computer classes Online, see page 16 for mail-in or in person.
  1. Go to:   www.piercecollege.edu     August 6 – August 27, 2009    7 days a week 7:00 a.m. – midnight 
  1. Move cursor to Admissions and Records on the left side of the screen (but don’t click), scroll to Add/Drop Classes and click.
  2. Click on How to Use the System and read instructions. Click Close when finished.
  3. Click on Student Information System, and proceed.
  1. Student Identification Number: Enter your Student ID Number.  As a continuing student, your Student ID number can be found on the continuing student notice that was mailed in late July.  If you did not receive the notice please call the office, (818) 710-2561.

  1. PIN:  (Personal Identification Number) – Your PIN is the month and day of your birth. If your birthday is March 5, enter 0305. If your birthday is October 25, enter 1025. If you changed your PIN while using the Pierce website, your new PIN must be used for telephone access as well.

  1. Click on Registration on the right side menu.
  1. College:      Los Angeles Pierce College

            Semester:  Fall 2009
            Action:      Add
            Section:     Enter 4-digit number usually under the class title in the Encore catalog.
                              All ENCORE section numbers begin with 88.
                              After the information is filled out, click Submit.
           When you have finished adding, return to the menu and select View Schedule.  Print this page 
            as a record of your transactions.

IMPORTANT:  To review & print class schedule follow directions to step 6 and then click
View Schedule (instead of Registration).  Fill in College-Pierce and semester Fall 2009. 
Click submit.  Print your schedule to confirm your registration went through.
