UNIT 3 - LEARNING

When teaching effectively, you must not only have knowledge of the content but you must have knowledge of the learners as well. In the online classroom you have the potential as never before to have unprecedented student diversity in a single classroom setting. It will be important to have a knowledge of the learners, not only of their background and culture, but of their learning styles as well.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of this unit, the student should be able:

  • To compare the variety of learning styles.
  • To understand the variety of intelligences.
  • To experience collaborative group learning.
  • To cooperatively manage time, space and resources.

OUTCOMES

  • The student will learn their particular learning style.
  • Tools for collaborative learning and classroom management will be evaluated
